In collaboration with Ystads konstmuseum Sofie Sweger erected a temporary work space in the former guards cubicle of the museum for her project United Net-Works c/o. Here one could follow the project and book meetings with Sofie to discuss projects and ideas.
>>United Net-Works on the Road 2003-2005<<- a collaborative art project by Sofie Sweger which investigated networking and social action as strategies for empowerment, collaboration and exchange between artists and arts professionals around the world. The project made stops at Kulturhuset and Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Göteborgs konsthall, Norrköpings konstmuseum and Gävle konstcenter. RACA in Copenhagen, EHU gallery in Minsk, Access Artist Run Space in Vancouver, Waygood Gallery & studios in Newcastle and Southern Exposure in San Francisco.
>>United Net-Works Mobile Archive of Wonders<< - a mobile archive unit designed by Birger Lipinski and Laércio Redondo to function as a mobile storage unit, meeting/work and screening place for >>United Net-Works on the Road<< project. >>United Net-Works Mobile Archive of Wonders<< contains documentation submitted and put together in individual A4 binders by over 300 contemporary artists, artists groups, independent curators and other arts professionals from around the world.
>>United Net-Works Mobile Archive Shareware Project<< - A part of >>United Net-Works on the Road 2003-2005<< project. The concept and drawings for >>United Net-Works Mobile Archive of Wonders<< were shared with collaborators in Minsk and San Francisco resulting in two branches of >>United Net-Works Mobile Archive<< being set up in Minsk and San Francisco respectively.
