The Minsk archive is open to all artists, writers, curators, researchers and collaborative groups who are interested to participate. The archive is based in Minsk and maintained by Tatiana Bembel, director of EHU gallery & independent curator. As part of the project/exhibition an office with a computer, scanner, printer, binders, paper, pens etc. was set up in the gallery to provide interested artists with an opportunity to construct their own binder for the archive at the gallery. Apart from opening and presenting the new Minsk archive, UNW presented a selection of 15 artists from the Stockholm archive who primarily work project and process-based and who have a special interest in issues related to research and science. The material from the Stockholm archive was presented and transported to Minsk in a specially constructed >>mobile archive suitcase<< made by Sofie Sweger. UNW also presented a screening program of artists video and DVD-works from the Stockholm archive and invited local artists to contribute work as well. The last weekend of the UNW project was devoted to presentations and round table discussions on the topic of Art and Science/ Art and Research organized by Art & Science international in collaboration with UNW. UNW invited artist Ann Rosén and curator Marianne Hultman from Sweden to participate in the event. The 'Silent Sound Sculpture' project is a collaboration between artists, scientists, researchers and architects where the processes in themselves are both part of the research and the artistic content. Marianne Hultman, curator at Norrkping Museum of Art and co-director of United Net-Works presented 'Art & Technology Art & Science' - on Experiments in Art and Technology during the 60s and Art and science in Sweden today, presenting EAT an organization founded in 1966 by American artist Robert Rauschenberg and Swedish engineer Billy Klüver working with experiments between artists and engineers.
