>>United Net-Works on the Road 2003 - 2005<<

- a collaborative art project by Sofie Sweger, realized in collaboration with artist Lena Malm & curator Marianne Hultman investigating networking and social action as strategies for empowerment, collaboration and exchange between artists and arts professionals around the world. It utilized the interface of a >>Mobile Archive<< designed by Birger Lipinski & Laércio Redondo, the spirit of openness/generosity and the act of traveling as tools to explore communicative and re-generative interests. >>The Mobile Archive<< functioned as a recording agent and meeting place open to all who wished to participate. It provided a point of contact with and source of information about creative people’s work through individually submitted artists’ binders. It also provided a platform and supportive structure for workshops, screenings, presentations and meetings in the different local contexts/exhibitions in which the project participated.

>>United Net-Works on the Road 2003 - 2005<< graphic design profile including posters, logotype, stamp, invites and newsletter was developed by Martin Frostner.
