United Net-Works & CRAC-forum invite Jasper van den Brink from Amsterdam to present his work, park4d.tv, and a selection of art projects at CRAC, Åsögatan 176, Stockholm.

Jasper van den Brink is searching for possibilities to disconnect the camera from the eye in order to find and discover new ways of viewing the world. His work places the spectator in situations that don't normally occur in life. For example his video Tunnel Vision 2004, the perspective is seen from the rotating container of a concrete mixer driving through the tunnel again and again. Van den Brink also works with site-specific installations playing with the spectators expectations, such as Oranges 2002 that he made at Manifesta 4 in Frankfurt 2002. People strolling down along the stream would suddenly see oranges pop up from the bottom of the river.

Jasper van den Brink is presently in Stockholm on a IASPIS residency.

About park4d.tv For over 20 years now PARK4DTV used the available electronic media to create 'Pure Image and Sound'. In the early days as an illegal pirate-station, later on making use of local cable Networks in Amsterdam (where over 12 1/2 years we distributed a daily '1 hour, 1 thing' via Salto Television Amsterdam), Berlin, New York and Rotterdam.

Of course from the early days on in 1994 we experimented to broadcast video over the internet. Now, 10 years later, on September 1, the quality meets our demands and can be compared to TV.
