United Net-Works & CRAC-forum present:
'Springhill Institute' - a project space in Birmingham UK, directed by artists Karin Kihlberg and Reuben Henry.

Thursday 17th February 6 pm

Established in 2002, the space functions as a centre for new critical discourse and aims to create an atmosphere where challenging dialogues around contemporary art are fully enabled, through lecture programs and a unique program of exhibitions and activities which challenge the conventions of art viewing.

Springhill Institute supports International production residencies both to enable new interactions between cultural contexts and differing ways of working, and concentrating on thinking and production processes. The residents live, alongside the directors of the space, in the residential section of Springhill institute. This residential element creates an informal side to the gallery space, including a kitchen and social space.
